Who we are
River Heights Medical Clinic is a physician-owned family practice located at 2734 Montague Street, Regina, Saskatchewan S4S 0J9, operated by Dr. Joshua Czemeres and Dr. RoxAnne Digney. You can reach us at (306) 584-3344.
We take privacy seriously. As physicians practising in Saskatchewan, we are trustees of personal health information under The Health Information Protection Act (HIPA), and we handle personal information collected through this website in keeping with HIPA and applicable Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA where it applies.
What this website collects
This website collects personal information in one place only: the New Patient Inquiry form. If you choose to submit it, we collect:
- Your name and phone number
- Your email address and preferred contact method, if provided
- How many people in your household are seeking care, and whether you currently have a family doctor
- Any optional message you include
- Basic technical information sent by your browser, such as its user agent string
We ask that you do not include health card numbers, diagnoses, medications, or other detailed personal health information in the form. The form exists to let us contact you, not to collect your health history.
Like most websites, our hosting providers automatically generate routine server logs (such as IP addresses and pages requested) for security and reliability purposes.
Why we collect it
We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry about becoming a patient and, if there is availability, to arrange your first visit. We do not use it for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside the clinic and the service providers listed below.
Where it is stored and who can see it
- Your inquiry is stored in a secure, access-restricted database and delivered by email to our physicians. Information is encrypted in transit.
- It is accessible only to Dr. Czemeres, Dr. Digney, and authorized clinic staff.
- We use reputable service providers to operate this website and deliver inquiries: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), and Resend (email delivery). They process information on our behalf under their security and privacy commitments.
How long we keep it
We keep website inquiries only as long as needed to respond and, where care is established, to set up your patient record. You may ask us to delete your inquiry at any time by calling the clinic.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not set cookies, run advertising, or use tracking pixels.
Email security
If you email the clinic or include an email address in the form, please remember that ordinary email is not a fully secure channel. Please do not send detailed personal health information by email. For anything sensitive, call us or raise it at your appointment.
Children
Inquiries on behalf of children should be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
Your rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you from this website, request corrections, or ask that it be deleted. Under HIPA you also have rights of access to your personal health information held by the clinic. If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact the Saskatchewan Information and Privacy Commissioner.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this website handles personal information, we will update this page and its effective date.
